Al Fateh tabs Roderick Camphor, ex Al Karameh

Al Fateh Al Hasa (SBL) inked 30-year old American 193cm swingman Roderick Camphor (college: SWOSU) for upcoming season. Camphor played most recently at Al Karameh in Syrian SBL league. He helped them to make it to the Syrian League final. Camphor also played for Enea Astoria in Polish EBL where in 21 games he averaged 14.1ppg, 2.2rpg and 4.8apg last season. He also spent pre-season at US Monastir (ProA) in Tunisian league.
Camphor is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to seven different countries on three different continents (Europe, Africa and of course North America). Camphor has played previously professionally in Belgium (Leuven Bears), Germany (Leverkusen and Hamburg Towers), Greece (Kymis), Hungary (Duna Aszfalt), Lithuania (Nevezis), Slovenia (Krka) and Poland (Spojnia, PGE Turow and HydroTruck).
Among many awards he received All-GAC Player of the Year award and was voted to Reese's NCAA D2 All-Star Game back in 2014.
He graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2014 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
